NFL Free Agency Update

The 2023 NFL free agency period has moved swiftly and several players of African heritage are moving onto new teams or re-signing with their 2022 team.

OT Cedric Ogbuehi: Signed with the Dolphins.

WR Nelson Agholor-Signed a one-year, $3.25 million contract with the Baltimore Ravens.

Edge Ogbo Okoronkwo-Agreed a three-year, $19 million deal with a max value of $22 million with the Cleveland Browns. Okoronkwo receives $12.5 million guaranteed.

DL Larry Ogunjobi– Re-signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers on a three-year, $28.75 million contract that includes $17 million guaranteed.

Edge Samson Ebukam-Signed a three-year, $27 million deal with the Indianapolis Colts that includes $11 million in Year 1.

DL Michael Dogbe: Signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Edge Charles Omenihu– Signed a two-year contract with a max value of $20 million with the Kansas City Chiefs.

DL Derrick Nnadi: Re-signed with the Chiefs.

OT Jermaine Eluemunor-Re-signed with the Oakland Raiders. 

LB Bobby Okereke– Signed a four-year, $40 million contract that includes $22 million guaranteed with the New york Giants.

CB Amani Oruwariye-Signed with the Giants.

WR Olamide Zaccheaus-Signed a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Edge Efe Obada-Signed a one-year deal worth up to $3 million with the Washington Commanders.

OT Olisaemeka UdohRe-signing with the Minnesota Vikings

K Greg Joseph– Re-signed on a one-year deal with the Vikings. 

DL David Onyemata-Signed a three-year, $35 million deal that includes $24.5 million fully guaranteed with the Atlanta Falcons.

CB Jeff Okudah – Traded to the Atlanta Falcons from the Detroit Lions in exchange for a 2023 fifth-round pick.

DE Tanoh Kpassagnon -Signed a two-year, $6 million extension that includes $2.5 million fully guaranteed with the New Orleans Saints.
