Victor Osimhen has agreed to a loan move to Turkish club Galatasaray, after Chelsea failed to reach a deal for the Napoli striker last week.

Chelsea and Saudi club Al-Ahly spent deadline day last Friday trying to sign Osimhen but whilst the Nigerian refused a move to Saudi Arabia, a move to West London to play for Chelsea failed to materialize when they couldn’t reach an agreement over his wages.

After the breakdown in talks, Napoli manager Antonio Conte made it clear that Osimhen wouldn’t be available for selection this season and the 25 year old looked set to be sidelined for the time being especially after Napoli signed Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku.

With the loan deal in place, Osimhen is said to have requested and received a break clause in his loan deal in case a club of his preference targets him and meets his wage requirements during the January transfer window.
